Demag Cranes showcases the company with its new website

Demag Cranes launched its new website at the weekend. With its completely revised website, the company is presenting its entire product and service portfolio in addition to data and facts concerning all aspects of the Group. The new website forms a central component of the corporate and marketing strategy to focus even more strongly on the customer.

Dr. Lars Brzoska, Member of the Executive Committee and Executive Vice President of Industrial Cranes points out: “With the new website, we are offering our customers an even faster and more extensive overview of all our products and services and a short line of communication to the appropriate contacts. As a result, we are closer to our customers and can adapt better to their needs.

Customers, business partners and interested parties can now quickly find exactly the right product and service information via optimised navigation and a clearer page structure and freely select the level of detail required for product and service descriptions. In addition, Demag Cranes supports its industry competence with descriptions of products and services classified according to industries. The tried-and-tested Demag Designer and Demag Shop programs are still an integral part of the Demag Cranes website.

The website is further divided into a Group area and local pages. The Group area includes press items, investor relations and the greatly expanded career section. In addition to target-group-specific information for applicants, there are also reports detailing the experiences of apprentices and trainees, working students and employees with varying degrees of experience, in order to give those interested a personal view of the company.

 

On the local pages, customers can quickly gain the overview they require of local products and services and by using an RSS feed can access information about the latest offers, training, customer events and participation in trade fairs. The German subsidiary is now getting the ball rolling with the current relaunch.

In many places, the visual design supports and enhances the value for the reader: the user-friendly navigation structure provides targeted access to the information required from a clearly structured range of information. In addition, with the help of so-called pull-down boxes, visitors themselves are able to determine the depth of information in the description, covering items such as Technical data, Application examples or Downloads.

The tried-and-tested Demag Shop and Demag Designer tools are an integral part of the new website. By using Demag Shop, customers can order spare parts, chain hoists, rope hoists and crane construction kit elements directly. With the help of Demag Designer, handling solutions ranging from chain hoists to KBK suspension cranes can be configured simply and individually.

 

The company is looking forward to receiving feedback on the website. Under the motto "Rate and win“ visitors to the page www.demagcranes.de can win a new iPad. The promotion will run until 30 April 2012.
